Chernobyl Amusement Park

Do you remember in the movie Transformer "Dark of the moon", when they search the Decepticons in Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, we can see clearly the Ferris wheel. In the real world, the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant is situated on the outskirts of the city of Pripyat.

This amusement park, built for the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant workers and their families, was scheduled to open May 1, 1986. But five days earlier the world's worst nuclear accident caused the evacuation of the town of 49,000 residents in four hours. No one ever returned.
